In 2004 I had the pleasure of joining the St. John's Doctoral Program. This proved to be an extremely rewarding adventure. Along the way I gleamed some wisdom that has been invaluable both in my professional life as well as in my personal life. Principal, Franklin School This portfolio affords you a look into some of the many things that have helped shape this experience for me. The St. John's program is an innovative one that helps shape you into a brand new being. The professors in this program are awe-inspiring. They all give you points that cause you to go beyond your preconceived boundaries. Professor Hughes challenges you up front with his "this program is about learning what you don't even know you don't know." Dr. Smith inspires you to look beneath the apparent surface and find the real issue. Dr. Dunlop probes the mind and causes you to look and re-look at what you perceived as being excellent. You discover it's far from it. Dr. Mitchell motivates you to view numbers as you never have before, and Dr. McGuire encourages you to move from what you thought was good and make it great. My gratitude shall forever be with the great minds that had the vision to create this program. I hope you enjoy this portfolio as much as I have enjoyed designing it for you.
